Fate only works if it feels human. No swiping means the person on the other side of the camera showed up hoping to meet someone real — treat them like it. Here's what we ask of everyone.

Be who you say you are

  • Use a clear photo of your actual face. No AI, no group shots, no photos of someone else.
  • Your age must be accurate. 18+ only.
  • Complete face verification. It takes 15 seconds and it's why the platform stays real.

Be kind on camera

  • Say hi. Bring energy. It's a two-minute intro, not an interrogation.
  • No slurs, hate speech, or targeted harassment — ever.
  • If the vibe isn't there, end the date warmly. "It was nice to meet you" costs nothing.

Consent, always

  • No nudity, sexual acts, or sexual content on live dates.
  • No sexual messages after the date unless the other person has clearly welcomed them.
  • Don't record, screenshot, or re-share anyone's video, audio, photos, or messages.

Zero tolerance

These get you banned immediately, and where required, reported to law enforcement:

  • Any sexual content involving anyone under 18.
  • Threats of violence, stalking, or doxxing.
  • Sharing intimate images of another person without their consent.
  • Human trafficking, exploitation, or solicitation of illegal sexual services.
  • Impersonation or catfishing.

Don't sell, scam, or spam

  • No promoting OnlyFans, cash apps, crypto, MLMs, or any external paid service.
  • No asking for money, gift cards, or "help with a flight."
  • No recruiting for other apps or platforms.

Protect yourself and each other

  • Don't share your last name, address, or workplace on the first date.
  • If you meet in person, meet somewhere public and tell a friend.
  • If someone crosses a line, tap Report during or after the call. We review every report.

What happens if you break the rules

Depending on severity we'll warn you, restrict features, suspend your account, or ban you permanently. Serious violations skip straight to a permanent ban and, where legally required, a report to authorities. Bans apply to the person, not just the account — creating a new account to evade a ban is itself a violation.

Appeals

If you think we got it wrong, email appeals@fateconnect.app from the address on your account. A human on our Trust & Safety team will review within 7 days.
